It has been a rough season for the Baltimore Ravens. A dreadful defensive effort from the team paved the way for a brutal 1-5 start to the season. Additionally, things took a turn for the worse when their superstar quarterback, Lamar Jackson, suffered an injury in Week 4.
Since returning, Jackson has been solid, while the defense has stepped up, leading to a 4-5 record entering Week 11. However, their hole is already too big for any complacency, which is what made a slow start to a divisional game against the Cleveland Browns all the more shocking for the two-time MVP.
What Happened to Lamar Jackson?
A former unanimous MVP, Jackson had made a name for himself as being among the most dominant performers, especially in the regular season. The all-time NFL leader in passer rating, he is one of the best bets for a spectacular outing in the league.
However, facing the Browns after a knee injury left his status in doubt all throughout the week, the premier dual-threat at the position was unable to find his usual brand of excellence.
Instead, as Cleveland shockingly led 16-10 going into halftime, Jackson’s stats were pedestrian, at best. Completing just six of his 12 passing attempts for 104 passing yards, he also logged one unfortunate interception as the ball bounced off his receiver.
