Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has called out a Philadelphia Eagles fan for an online rant about the Ravens. Miles Johnson, an Eagles fan and podcast host, recently posted a video claiming that Jackson was out of excuses when it came to winning a Super Bowl.
Jackson responded in the comments section, attacking Johnson for his tone and attitude he’d displayed towards him in the video.

Lamar Jackson Lays Into Eagles Fan for ‘No Excuses’ Take on Instagram Video
Johnson released the video after the Ravens signed former Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander. The podcaster called out Jackson and the Ravens, stating that the quarterback had nowhere to hide, given the strength of the Ravens roster.
“Lamar Jackson, no excuses now, no excuses, bro!” Johnson said. “Because you’ve got a damn good roster, one of the best rosters in the NFL. So if you’re that guy, that they say that you are, get it done this season.”
Jackson was clearly irked by the video and responded with a rant of his own in the comments.
“I love how yall lame ssa stay on my pipe Lamar no excuses when tf have I ever complained?” Jackson wrote. “Just say we have a solid on paper roster so far all that other [s**t] not called for. You don’t play for the eagles lil bra continue to be a fan of the game.”

Jackson’s response was fair enough; the quarterback has put up ridiculous numbers for Baltimore and is up against some of the best teams in the league in the AFC. The team’s last four playoff defeats have all come at the hands of either the Kansas City Chiefs, the Buffalo Bills, or the Cincinnati Bengals.
Podcaster Responds to Jackson’s Rant
It wasn’t too long before Johnson released a follow-up video, responding to Jackson’s comment. The Eagles fan took a different tone, lauding the quarterback’s talent while doubling down on his initial point.

The podcaster labeled Jackson as the best quarterback of all time, waxing lyrical about the player’s dual-threat ability. He also pointed to people’s view of Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts after the Eagles won the Super Bowl with the best roster in the league.
Jackson led a fourth-quarter touchdown drive from Baltimore’s 12-yard line against the Buffalo Bills in the playoffs, only for Mark Andrews to drop the two-point conversion. His failure to go further in the postseason will be a concern for the quarterback, but “Super Bowl or bust” is a term thrown around far too liberally.
Top quarterbacks are judged heavily on Super Bowl wins and likely always will be. It’s perhaps an unfair way to judge a single player, but such is the nature of the quarterback position. Jackson has been a phenomenal servant for Baltimore and, at 28 years old, has plenty of time to win some Super Bowls.
