Taylor Swift’s latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, has fans buzzing, and Kylie Kelce, wife of former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce, is no exception. She recently revealed her favorite tracks from the album, singling out one in particular that has references to her brother-in-law’s “manhood.”
Kylie Kelce Shares Her Favorite Tracks From Latest Taylor Swift Album
Swift’s latest album has already made waves, selling 2.7 million copies in the U.S. on its first day alone. The 12-track project features several nods to Travis Kelce and their relationship, making him a recurring figure in the songs.
Kylie shared her thoughts on her soon-to-be sister-in-law’s album during the October 9 episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast. She named “Wi$h Li$t,” “Opalite,” and, most notably, “Wood” as her favorites.
“My favorites on the album are definitely ‘Wi$h Li$t,’ ‘Opalite,’ and, who are we kidding, ‘Wood,'” she said.
“Here’s the deal,” Kylie explained, “Do I need that much detail about, specifically about my brother-in-law? Probably not. But also good job, Trav! That’s it! Guys, yes, 1000%, yes. That’s women supporting women.”
One of the most talked-about tracks on the album, “Wood,” combines bold innuendo with a wink to Kelce’s manhood. The song features lyrics that cheekily reference the Chiefs star, blending swagger and humor in classic Swift style.
Despite the cheeky nature of “Wood,” Kelce has kept things lighthearted, downplaying any implications when his brother Jason brought it up on their New Heights podcast. “Great song… I love that girl, so what do you mean?” he joked. He later added that he feels lucky to be “the support system for Taylor while she drops one of the coolest albums that I’ve ever listened to.”
Swift subtly acknowledged the innuendo during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, but explained that the track started out innocently.
“It really started out in a very innocent place… I don’t know what happened, man,” she laughed. “We started vibing, and suddenly we got here, but I love this song so much.”
In another interview, she also noted that her mother, Andrea Swift, sees the track as a playful nod to popular superstitions. “That’s the joy of the double entendre,” the Grammy-winning singer added.
Off the music stage, the Kelce-Swift romance has been flourishing. The couple recently got engaged, a milestone that Kylie was thrilled about. She shared that she was “so truly happy for them,” showing her support for the pair as they take the next step in their relationship.
