FOXBORO, Mass. — The 1-0 New England Patriots were back on the practice field Wednesday afternoon.
Let’s look at attendance, notes, and highlights from the first practice ahead of Sunday’s home game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Patriots Practice Attendance l Wednesday, Sept. 11
Guard Sidy Sow was the only player absent from Wednesday’s practice. The second-year pro missed the season opener and hasn’t practiced since suffering an ankle injury in New England’s preseason finale.
All other banged-up players, including safety Jabrill Peppers, tackle Vederian Lowe, and running back Antonio Gibson, were on the field.

Assorted Notes from Patriots Practice
- The top offensive line mirrored what we saw during most of Sunday’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals: Vederian Lowe (left tackle), Michael Jordan (left guard), David Andrews (center), Layden Robinson (right guard), and Mike Onwenu (right tackle).
- Rookie Caedan Wallace worked at right tackle with the second unit. Chukwuma Okorafor, who was benched on Sunday, appeared to be the backup left tackle.
