Former Wales rugby star Louis Rees-Zammit has signed a deal with the Chiefs. Following an impressive workout at the IPP Pro Day last week, Rees-Zammit visited Kansas City and showcased enough for the Chiefs to sign him. He will reportedly play running back, wide receiver, and even return kicks.

After trading starting cornerback L’Jarius Sneed to the Tennessee Titans, the Chiefs suddenly have more cap space to work with, which they will likely use to re-sign two of its free agents. Defensive tackle Mike Danna and offensive tackle Donovan Smith are both still available and make sense as familiar targets for Kansas City.

According to Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda, the Chiefs flew down to Tallahassee, Florida, to work out Florida State DT Fabien Lovett. Projected to be a likely Day 3 pick, Lovett could potentially be an immediate contributor to Kansas City’s defensive front.

Chiefs To Host Marshall’s Rasheen Ali on Top-30 Visit

Kansas City is reportedly interested in another likely Day 3 pick in Marshall running back Rasheen Ali.

Due to his receiving upside and pass-blocking ability, Ali is an ideal target for the Super Bowl champions. Given what Kansas City likes to do with their running backs on third down, Ali would be a seamless fit and likely play a role similar to what Jerick McKinnon did.
