Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow’s Instagram story made waves on Saturday night. Burrow is often spotted posing with celebrities, but his meetup was special this time.
It is fair to say that the quarterback has crossed the line of being a celebrity himself ever since he led the Bengals to a Super Bowl appearance in 2022 as a two-year rookie quarterback. His stats have done the job of keeping up his celebrity status since then.
But Burrow’s fandom doesn’t come half as close to the one he met up with on Saturday as he is “The Godfather.”

Joe Burrow Poses With Al Pacino
Burrow posed with the legendary 84-year-old Al Pacino. Burrow’s reaction to posing next to Pacino was just like everyone else’s when they hear his name: “The Godfather,” Burrow wrote alongside a picture of theirs.
Pacino’s long-standing storied career has given the cinema some of the most iconic movies like The GodFather series, considered one of the best movies ever made, and The Scent of a Woman, for which he won an Academy Award for Best Actor. Pacino’s strong roles in his films have been a testament to his outstanding acting skills.
In addition to Pacino, Burrow was also spotted with Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour during her attendance at the Bengals’ game. Wintour’s attendance was linked to Burrow’s stylist, Kyle Smith, and Wintour’s daughter, who is a Bengals fan.
What made the high-profile meetup even more interesting was it came shortly after the quarterback made his runway debut at Vogue World Paris.
Burrow has also shared some much-talked-about interactions with prominent music industry celebrities like Kid Cudi and Jack Harlow.
Joe Burrow To Feature in Netflix’s Quarterback Season 2
The next season of Netflix’s Quarterback, set to land in July 2025, will feature Burrow through his fifth season with the Bengals. The series will give the inside scoop on how Burrow navigated the roller-coaster 2024 season as the Bengals’ starting quarterback after a slow start to the season. The Netflix series will also feature Detriot’s Jared Goff and Kirk Cousins.
Burrow unlocked several feats in the 2024 season. He led the NFL in passing yards (4,918) and passing touchdowns (43), becoming the only third player in NFL history to have at least 4,500 passing yards and 40 passing TDs while throwing fewer than 10 interceptions. The other two are Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers which puts Burrow in an elite circle. Burrow also won the 2024 AP NFL Comeback Player of the Year award.
