The rain will have its impact on the game, but the strong wind gusts will have the biggest impact. Starting at kickoff, wind will increase over 10 mph throughout the game. Although wet, the temperature should stay in the high-50s the entirety of the game and into the night.

Fantasy Football Impact of Weather on C.J. Stroud, Nico Collins, Garrett Wilson and Others

We’ve seen plenty of wet days in MetLife Stadium this year, and Week 14 seems to be no different. The current forecast has rain falling throughout, which would be no major issue if 15+ mph winds did not accompany it.

Adding to the complication is that we could start to see 30 mph gusts sweeping across the stadium in the second half. In terms of fantasy options, the weather might be enough to keep you away from Garrett Wilson with the chaos around the QB position with the Jets.

Zach Wilson is once again expected to be the starter after a two-week Tim Boyle experiment. With Boyle at the helm, Garrett averaged 12.7 points per game, as opposed to 13.1 with Zach.

For the Texans, with Noah Brown dealing with an injury and the poor weather, Collins may be the only reliable pass-catching option in this game. Tank Dell had his season ended with a serious leg injury vs. the Denver Broncos last week. Collins is averaging 28.75 points over the last two weeks.

For Stroud, there might be concerns in Week 14. Besides the ugly weather for throwing the football, the Jets defense has shut down quarterbacks in 2023. Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Jalen Hurts have all combined for eight interceptions against the Jets this season. Additionally, Justin Herbert had a 65.4 rating in Week 9.

The running backs in this game might offer reliable options in Week 14. Devin Singletary is averaging 15.28 points over the last four weeks, while Breece Hall is averaging 13.45 on the season.
