‘Jerry Jones Hurts His Own Team’ — Cowboys Fan Rip Owner After Dallas’ Stadium’s Issue Causes George Pickens’ Big Mistake

For most of the Dallas Cowboys’ game against the Kansas City Chiefs, WR Cedee Lamb looked like the best player on the Cowboys’ offense. This was a bit of a different sight for NFL fans, given how well George Pickens has played this season, but the newly traded WR was really uninvolved during the first half.

QB Dak Prescott was throwing him the ball, but the connection was not turning into catches, and one moment in particular was not on Pickens. Early in the game, when the sun was still out in Dallas, Prescott threw the ball to a wide-open Pickens. The issue was that the pesky sun was blasting into the stadium, completely blinding the star WR, and he couldn’t track the ball.

Fans React to the Dallas Sun Playing Defense

This was a major storyline last season, but Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones decided to make no changes and keep the status quo.

Fans had some reactions to this moment during today’s game:

One fan said, “Jerry Jones is such a loser for being this committed on the sun gimmick.”

“Still can’t believe Jerry Jones built a stadium where the sun will just blind wide receivers. Hilarious oversight,” one fan pointed out.

One fan stated, “Jerry Jones hurts his own team once again thanks to his ignorance with the sun.”

“Only Jerry Jones would have a dome that enables sun to get in player’s eyes” one fan declared.

One fan questioned, “The sun problem in Dallas makes me seriously wonder how dumb Jerry Jones is.”

One fan joked, “George Pickens blinded by the sun is hilarious.”

Another fan pointed out, “Pickens can’t see because of the sun I need those curtains up by halftime Jerry.”

After this play, Pickens was able to bounce back in the second half and have a standout performance.
