Jason Kelce Reveals How Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s Newest Addition Destroyed Luxury Home Decor

Travis Kelce is spending some time off with his new puppy after last taking the field on Feb. 9 in the Super Bowl. Even though his and the Kansas City Chiefs’ quest for a historical three-peat fell short against the Philadelphia Eagles, the tight end is finding some solace in his fur baby.

Jason Kelce Recalls Funny Story About Travis Kelce

Meanwhile, Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, shared some funny stories about him on the “Fitz & Whit” podcast with Ryan Fitzpatrick and Andrew Whitworth on Feb. 18. Leading up to an account about Travis’ puppy, Jason first talked about his brother’s expensive taste in furniture.

“He had these couches, and they were like green velvet. Like, over-the-top couches,” Jason said. “I’m like — I’m not gonna say the dollar amount — but I’m like, ‘Dude, what are these couches?’”

Jason continued, “He said, ‘Oh, it’s an Italian designer. It’s an investment.’ I’m like, ‘Travis, this thing is not retaining [value].’

“I came back maybe six months after that, and I come back, and one of the couches is like pushed up against the wall,” Jason says. “I’m like, ‘Why did you move the couch?’ And he goes, and he pulls the couch back. He had just got a puppy; the puppy had chewed a hole in the back of it.”

    “Investment’s over,” the hosts laughed.

Travis’ new puppy perfectly balances his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s love for cats. Speaking of which, Jason also talked about the positive effect Swift has had on his brother. The furniture conversation led to a discussion about Travis’ growth as a person.

“It’s been staggering, honestly,” Jason said. “One of the things I love so much about Travis is that he never grew up. He was like Peter Pan, the Lost Boys.

“For sure. It’s changing, and I think that sometimes you get people in your life that maybe get that out of you, and that’s a great thing. Trav, he is growing up. He’s still, though, got that youthful enthusiasm. I think he’ll kind of just always have that, it’s part of his personality, and I think it’s one of the reasons every teammate has loved playing with him.”

Swift and Travis Kelce are going strong following the 2024-25 NFL season. They started dating in 2023, and both continue to evolve.
