The seven-time Pro Bowler took on a new kind of pre-game warmup, performing with Philly-based rock band Mt. Joy at Lincoln Financial Field’s Pepsi Plaza ahead of the Eagles-Washington Commanders TNF matchup.

Kelce’s 20-minute set was the perfect teaser for the final Eagles Christmas album, A Philly Special Christmas Party, due out on Nov. 29.

Kelce has quickly grown his musical legacy since 2022, with previous albums raising $4.25 million for local charities like the Children’s Crisis Treatment Center and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

This year’s release, which follows last year’s A Philly Special Christmas Special, continues Kelce’s dedication to his community. And it’s not just fans getting into the holiday spirit: Kelce’s even got the stamp of approval from Stevie Nicks after harmonizing with her on Maybe This Christmas from the new album, a moment he said left him “still in awe.”

The performance struck a chord with fans. “Is there anything this man can’t do?” one fan said.

“Okay, now he absolutely HAS to perform Christmas Tree Farm with Taylor 😂😂 @JasonKelce great job, man!” another cheered.

A third commented, “This matchup is going to be intense, can’t wait to see how both teams perform tonight.”

The crowd was already amped for the big game, and Kelce’s appearance only stoked the anticipation.

Fans didn’t just appreciate Kelce’s standout performance; they saw it as a refreshing, down-to-earth moment that captured the spirit of the season.

“Love this,” one fan noted, adding, “Having professional singers perform the anthem takes away from the meaning. I think each team should select a captain to sing the anthem together (and encourage fans to sing along) as a symbol of unity between the 2 teams before the game.”

Kelce’s growing holiday tradition has even stirred up some lighthearted wishful thinking: “I was so angry and drunk when it happened I even wrote to Jason Kelce begging him to tell Taylor to perform it for my show 💀,” one fan joked.

Another dreamer quipped, “Any chance we can get Taylor to write and perform a song about Kylie the Queen of Philly?”

Though retired, Kelce’s Philly connection only seems to deepen. Between charity efforts and fan shoutouts, he’s proving that his heart beats for the city!

“Possessed by fandom” is how the 37-year-old describes his unforgettable night in Buffalo — shirtless in the winter chill and tailgating with Bills Mafia. But this time, as the Kansas City Chiefs gear up to face the Buffalo Bills, Kelce’s taking a different approach.

The retired Eagles star and Monday Night Countdown analyst confirmed on the New Heights podcast with his brother, Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce, that he’ll be rooting from a warm spot instead of braving the cold.

Reminiscing on the January evening, the Super Bowl 52 champ shared how he immersed himself in the passionate Buffalo crowd, even helping a young fan connect with Travis’ girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

“I think I kind of got possessed by fandom on that occasion,” he laughed, adding, “Probably alcohol as well, but we’ll leave it at fandom.”

With such iconic memories and Bills Mafia energy in his heart, Kelce’s cozy seat this time won’t dampen his die-hard support.
