The last time Jason Kelce and Travis were on the same football field, it was the Philadelphia Eagles‘ center with the dejected look while the Kansas City Chiefs‘ All-Pro celebrated the Super Bowl win.
Nine months and seven days after their last gridiron meeting, the elder Kelce emerged the victor this time, as his team held on for the 21-17 road win at Arrowhead Stadium. And in the process, older bro was finally on the winning side against little bro, who was 3-0 in the series.
But was there a postgame interaction between both?

Both siblings didn’t avoid each other on a rain-soaked field after the game.
Turns out, one of them had a birthday as Travis Kelce reminded.
“Late birthday present for you,” Travis Kelce told his brother after the game. “Love you big guy.”

That wasn’t the only reaction coming from a Kelce.
Eagles’ All-Pro Center Reacts to Earning the Win
While Jason Kelce is now 1-3 versus his brother, his most important record is Philly’s current one — now 9-1 overall.
The Pro Bowl center and Super Bowl LII champion ended up sharing a quick statement after the four-point win in the Super Bowl rematch.
“It wasn’t our prettiest win. We knew it was going to be difficult. Arrowhead…God damn, they were hard. But definitely happy to come out here with the win. First win against the Chiefs since I’ve been here. That’s huge for us,” Kelce said.

How Did Kelce and Eagles Offensive Line Perform?
By Jason Kelce’s admission, it was the opposite of pretty for this Eagles offense against the Chiefs.
In fact, the MNF game became one of the worst nights for the Eagles’ pass protection.
Philadelphia ended up surrendering five total sacks of Jalen Hurts. Interior defender Chris Jones, who Kelce was often assigned to on the blocking end, wound up tying for the K.C. lead with two sacks. Cornerback Trent McDuffie tied Jones by swopping up two sacks off blitzes.
But where Kelce and the Eagles were the strongest up front was in the run game. Kelce and Co. helped pave the way for Philly to average 4.2 yards per carry and rack up 114 rushing yards. Philly also scored all three of its touchdowns on the rushing end, with Hurts scoring twice with his legs.
Hurts burst through this opening that was helped created by Kelce.

Kelce and the Eagles wound up outscoring the Chiefs 14-0 the rest of the night to hand K.C. its third loss of the season.
The oldest sibling in the Kelce family managed to erase the memory of the last Eagles/Chiefs game. His look of dejection was replaced with a look of relief. But that expression was more for his team improving to 9-1…and enjoying a present 15 days after celebrating his 36th birthday, as his defeated younger brother reminded him.
