Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions scored multiple touchdowns in each of the first three quarters against the Tennessee Titans in Week 8, allowing the MVP candidate to get some well-deserved time off.
Why Jared Goff Didn’t Finish the Game in Week 8
The Lions inserted backup quarterback Hendon Hooker with 12:52 remaining in the fourth quarter due to the lopsided nature of this game.
The 6-1 Lions have much bigger goals than running up the score in Week 8. Those goals begin to take form next week as they travel to Lambeau Field to face a streaking Green Bay Packers team that saw Jordan Love limp off the field against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The NFC North has proven to be the best division in football through the first two months of the season, and there are no signs of that changing with time. Week 9 is a huge game when it comes to sorting out the hierarchy of the North, as will a Week 13-16 stretch for Detroit, where three of their four games come against division rivals.
You need not worry about any health concerns to Goff for your fantasy football lineups or future betting tickets. He’s healthy, and Detroit is as dangerous as any to win the final game of this season.
