The Kansas City Chiefs make their return to Arrowhead Stadium for the first time since Nov. 20. This time, a common foe that’s crossed paths with the Chiefs in the postseason will pull into the “Chiefs Kingdom” when the Buffalo Bills are in town.
But with the Chiefs back at Arrowhead, does this mean Taylor Swift will be cheering on her closet NFL team and her beau Travis Kelce?
Will Taylor Swift Attend Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills?
Update 12/10/2023: Taylor Swift has officially been spotted at Arrowhead. She will be in attendance when the Chiefs and Travis Kelce take on the Buffalo Bills.

The country/pop singer’s status for Bills at Chiefs is questionable.
Swift fans should not be alarmed. It doesn’t mean Swift sustained an ankle or shoulder injury, as “questionable” in a football context means they may not be on the field. It just means it’s still to be determined if the 12-time Grammy winner will be watching from the suites.

So far, neither the All-Pro Kelce nor any representatives for Swift have yet confirmed whether or not Swift will be watching.
Swift recently was named Time Person of the Year for 2023 and graced the cover of the magazine. As the year draws to a close, Swift has shattered record numbers for her Eras Tour which has grown popular across the nation and globally. However, she’s increased the popularity of the NFL by becoming a new attendee of games as a result of her relationship with the two-time Super Bowl winner Kelce.
Has Swift Officially Become a Football Fan?
One year ago, there was no mention of Swift having any sort of fandom for the gridiron and Sunday football action. One Google search of Swift and her songs and breakups likely would’ve shown up first.
How things have changed one year later.
Swift herself admitted to Time that she can’t help but be enamored with the game of football.
“Football is awesome, it turns out,” Swift told the magazine in her acceptance of being named Time’s Person of the Year. “I’ve been missing out my whole life.”
However, does she mind the constant attention NFL cameras are giving her when she does attend a Chiefs game?
“I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in,” she says. “There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once.”
As stated in the Time article, she is sensitive to the attention that she gets when she shows up.
“I’m just there to support Travis,” Swift says. “I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”
But, if Swift does indeed show up to Arrowhead Stadium, it becomes her first Chiefs home game since Kansas City rolled to a 31-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Oct. 22. Furthermore, she’ll get a chance to see two teams that have had two notable playoff moments: the 2019 season AFC title game and the 2021 season divisional round matchup that saw the Chiefs tie it up at 36 with 13 seconds left in an exciting back-and-forth.
Swift did end her absence from Chiefs games recently. The 33-year-old was in the suites at Lambeau Field when her Chiefs took on the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football. But that game ended in a 27-19 loss at the hands of the Pack. That also marked the first official loss for Kansas City in games when Swift is in attendance, as the Chiefs’ record is now 4-1 with Swift in the suites.
