One NFL draft analyst expects the Philadelphia Eagles to shore up a position of strength with yet another Georgia Bulldogs standout.
Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has loved targeting Bulldogs players in recent years, and he hasn’t been afraid to load up on talent at an important position, as he absolutely values depth.

Eagles Projected to Select Georgia Star to Bolster Defense in 2026 NFL Draft
After dismantling the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl, the Eagles want their chance to build a dynasty. Philadelphia prioritizes the front seven more than most teams, so it’s no surprise that PFSN’s Jacob Infante has Philadelphia selecting Georgia defensive tackle Christen Miller in his latest 2026 NFL mock draft.
“The Philadelphia Eagles have shown a penchant towards two things: consistent investment in the defensive line and drafting Georgia players. This accomplishes both!” Infante wrote. “Christen Miller is a stout run defender with upside on passing downs due to his short-area quickness. He should get more reps in 2025 to boost his stock.”
Miller, as of right now, profiles as a nose tackle. While he stuffs the run with aplomb, he seems unable to get to the quarterback. Can that be taught at the professional level? To an extent, you will find run stuffers that will tally a few sacks. Miller does use lateral movement and a decisive approach to find the ball.
Additionally, the Bulldog interior lineman never stops churning his legs, presenting offenses with the constant problem of maintaining a block throughout the play.
As mentioned, Miller shines in the run game. The film shows a heavy-handed approach to jarring blockers, allowing him to make the stop.
The question is how Miller would fit with the Eagles and whether they would spend a first-round pick on a player who may not play immediately given their depth at the position. Currently, Moro Ojomo is up as a five-technique alongside Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis in the starting lineup.
Conceivably, Miller could inevitably take Ojomo’s job, but will they have bigger needs in the first round?
Recently, talk surfaced about whether the organization could make Carter the highest-paid defender in the league, and Davis will also want a sizable raise. Roseman could target Miller if he isn’t planning on paying both Carter and Davis, but if both are in the Eagles’ long-term plan, would Philly spend yet another high pick on a player at a redundant position?
One thing is certain: the Eagles’ front office loves quality depth up front, providing the front seven with a deep rotation that does not tire. As a result, it isn’t crazy to think that Miller could wind up next to the two fellow Georgia standouts.
