The Buffalo Bills fans are celebrating many things this week. For starters, they celebrated their 31-10 win against the Miami Dolphins on Thursday, followed by the latest confession of their star quarterback Josh Allen’s girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld’s attendance at the season opener.
What did Steinfeld say about Allen?
Hailee Steinfeld Is Josh Allen’s No. 1 Fan
While fans were disappointed to see Steinfeld not present on the field during the season-opening matchup, she gave them a heartwarming surprise as she admitted on her blog called “Beau Society” that she was there:
She wrote, “Hi. The rumors are true. Football season is back which means a few things, A) I get to watch my favorite person continue to make NFL history every week. B) We’re just a few weeks away from drastic temperature drops where you’ll find me drinking hot chocolate bundled in vintage Bills gear.”
She said about her game day experience: “I spent most of the time game thinking about 1) how lucky I am to get a front-row seat to the magic that is JA17, the entire Bills team, and the stadium energy. 2) The people who make up Bills Mafia are second to none.”
Allen and Steinfeld’s Relationship Timeline
The couple has been rumored to have been dating since May 2023. According to Us Weekly, the two were spotted several times in New York, exploring the city together and going out on sushi dates with their friends.
On Oct. 8, she was seen cheering on her rumored boyfriend as the Bills took on the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.
In Jan. 2024, Steinfeld finally made a subtle confession about her relationship with the NFL star during an interview at the Golden Globes. The interviewer asked her what she thought about sporty men, to which she replied, “Listen, what isn’t it about? Come on, now.”
The lovebirds were known to be dating for quite a while now. Still, they only publicly acknowledged their relationship in July 2024, when the Bills quarterback posted a photo dump on his Instagram. The first picture was with the “Starving” singer and showed them looking at the Eiffel Tower.
Steinfeld also shared snippets from the trip, and while she didn’t put a picture with Allen on there, she captioned the post, “We’ll always have Paris.”
The Bills quarterback also shared a picture of his whole family posing with Steinfeld, followed by a snap of her captured by Allen in what seems to be a shopping center.
Despite hard-launching his girlfriend on Instagram, Allen didn’t talk about being hit by the cupid until an interview in August 2024. He couldn’t stop blushing over the interviewer’s questions about his relationship, to which he replied, “We love love.”
