Gracie Hunt is a stunner who has built her empire as a fashion girlie. She has been a regular face in the beauty pageants but nothing trumps her love of the Kansas City Chiefs. The daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt fused her style with her fandom to advertise merchandise for female NFL fans.
In an Instagram post, the 2021 Miss Kansas USA drenched herself in the color of the Chiefs to advertise Fox broadcaster Erin Andrews’ “WEARbyEA X Gracie Hunt” collection.
“I’m so excited to share that the @WEARbyEA x Gracie Hunt NFL Women’s Apparel capsule collection drops this fall!” wrote Hunt in the caption.
She highlighted how the merchandise isn’t just for Chiefs fans like her but also has options for female fans of all 32 NFL teams. The capsule collection is set to drop this fall and has Fanatics as its selling partner.
Gracie Hunt Joins the Bright Year for NFL Female Apparel Business
Hunt has been associated with the NFL Women’s Apparel initiative since 2012, per Special Olympics. As a sports fan, the 25-year-old also worked for FC Dallas, a team also founded by her grandfather, Lamar Hunt.
On the other hand, the 46-year-old American TV personality launched her collection “WEAR by Erin Andrews” back in 2019, which Gracie has joined now. The motto is to reach female fans and provide them with more appealing looks for game days.
“There was so much for men, but only a few styles for women. What was available for women was still the same stuff I was seeing in college when I would buy stuff from Pink,” said Andrews, remembering how it took 4-5 years to pitch the idea, per Fortune.
According to Harris Poll data, women comprise 46% of the NFL fanbase. Shockingly, apparel for female NFL fans has been neglected for many years. However, the year 2024 has seen some major developments in NFL women’s apparel.
Famous NFL WAGS like Taylor Swift and Simone Biles have graced the fields in custom-made pieces, strengthening the case for making better apparel for female fans. Consequently, the NFL signed a massive deal with Kristin Juszczyk, a Bay Area-based fashion influencer and the wife of 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, after her jacket design worn by Taylor Swift went viral.
With the induction of more NFL entities like the Chiefs heiress Hunt, the women’s apparel lines are getting the attention they deserve.
