The NFL Draft is less than a month away, and all eyes are on the landing spots of the top two quarterbacks in the class: Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders.
The Tennessee Titans hold the No. 1 overall pick and have full control over who will take charge of their offense starting in 2025. A former linebacker and current host has suggested a bold move for Tennessee — one that could “revolutionize the entire NFL.”

Emmanuel Acho Wants the Titans To Make Impactful Draft Move
The latest mock draft from PFSN has the Tennessee Titans selecting Ward, the quarterback from Miami (FL), with the No. 1 overall pick. Ward is indeed the top candidate to become the face of the Titans franchise, with the head coach even praising the quarterback’s confidence.
Ward has climbed significantly up draft boards throughout the pre-draft process. However, some in the media still believe the Titans could surprise everyone and go with a different quarterback at No. 1 overall.
That’s the case for Emmanuel Acho, former NFL linebacker and current host of “The Facility.” Acho believes the Titans have a unique opportunity to pair the younger Sanders with his father, Deion Sanders. The two previously worked together at Jackson State and later reunited at Colorado in a project that brought national attention to the university.
.@EmmanuelAcho says the Titans should draft Shedeur Sanders at #1 👀

“I’m taking Shedeur Sanders… We all say Shedeur Sanders is a winner everywhere he go. That’s not exclusively true. Shedeur and Deion are winners everywhere they go. I would take Shedeur Sanders to make sure that I have the first step to have Deion Sanders as my next head coach in Tennessee, assuming Callahan does not work out.”
Over four years in college, Shedeur totaled 14,347 passing yards, 134 passing touchdowns, 17 rushing touchdowns, and 27 interceptions. At Jackson State, he posted an impressive 23–3 record, and during his two years at Colorado, he finished with a 13-12 mark.
Reuniting the duo in the NFL could be a risky move — but there’s no denying the strong connection and familiarity between father and son.
However, that scenario depends on one major condition: At some point, the Titans would have to move on from Callahan, who just completed his first year leading the franchise, as their head coach. So the question is — would Tennessee wait a year to evaluate Callahan alongside their new quarterback, or would they make the bold move of bringing in Deion right away?
“The Titans have had five head coaches since 2010. You know Deion would inevitably leave Colorado for one reason and one reason only — to coach his son. If you can get Shedeur, who do you think you’re gonna get as your next head coach? And you don’t even have to come in here with a whole lot of different leverage and negotiation tactics. Just show him a picture of the quarterback, and it’s Shedeur,” Acho added.
Last season, the Tennessee Titans ranked 27th in the PFSN Offensive+ Metric and 22nd in the PFSN Defensive+ Metric, a performance well below expectations.
Talent was clearly lacking, and it’s not far-fetched to think that another disappointing year could cost the head coach his job. If that happens, Ward and Shedeur could lead the franchise in very different directions when it comes to hiring their next head coach.
Acho completed his thought, saying: “If you get Shedeur and you get Prime, you completely revolutionize the whole NFL as it pertains to the Tennessee Titans.”
With eight total picks, the Titans’ moves could be pivotal for the near future of the franchise and are set to be one of the biggest storylines heading into the NFL Draft.
