The Top Kickers To Start in Week 17

Chase McLaughlin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Analysis by Jason Katz | The best kickers in fantasy aren’t always the best kickers in the NFL.

Sure, Jake Moody is awesome, but the San Francisco 49ers are far more likely to score touchdowns than to kick field goals this week.

A guy like Chase McLaughlin is in a great spot against a defense that isn’t imposing but is good enough to force the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to drive and stall.

McLaughlin has scored 11+ fantasy points in three straight games. He’s attempted multiple field goals in all but three games this season, including three straight. He’s hitting 93% of his kicks and hasn’t missed an extra point.

Cameron Dicker, Los Angeles Chargers (at Broncos)

Analysis by Kyle Soppe | Cameron Dicker buried a season-high five field goals against the Buffalo Bills on Saturday night and now gets the benefit of heading to altitude to face a defense that has had its fair share of issues this season.

No one is starting to build the Easton Stick Hall of Fame bust quite yet, but he did look better in Week 16 than the disaster that took place in Week 15.

That provides me with confidence that this offense can at least move the ball well enough to put Dicker — who hasn’t missed a kick since September — in a spot to produce his sixth double-digit fantasy point performance of the season.
