The Los Angeles Rams prepare for their important Week 11 divisional matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Davante Adams left last week’s game with an oblique injury. Will fantasy football managers have their star receiver available this week?

Davante Adams Injury Update
Adams exited during the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 42-26 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. The Rams initially listed him with a back injury and marked him as questionable to return, though he did not re-enter the game.
Head coach Sean McVay clarified after the game that Adams actually suffered an oblique injury. Adams described the injury himself as “my side oblique area, whatever. I’m not too good at anatomy, and biology, and all that. So, I don’t want to mislabel it, but whatever’s on this side below my ribs. Muscular situation”.
Adams told reporters the injury was “biting” during the game but added, “It’s feeling better now. We’ll see how it feels next week”.
McVay is historically very truthful and forthcoming when it comes to injuries. He said Adams could’ve gone back in the game if it was necessary. “I think he probably could have been able to come back in if it was a little bit closer. Kind of similar to Puka last week,” McVay told reporters.
That doesn’t mean the future Hall of Famer is out of the woods, but it does suggest the injury is not overly serious. McVay said he was hopeful that Adams’ injury was “minimal” and didn’t have a specific update beyond that.
If he could’ve finished last week’s game, it stands to reason he should be able to play this week. Given Adams’ veteran status, he certainly doesn’t need to push it at practice this week. He can easily go DNP-DNP-LP and play.
He predictably did not practice on Wednesday, but that is automatically be cause for concern. McVay reiterated that he expects Adams to play on Sunday. Expect him to return to a limited practice either on Thursday or Friday and be active on Sunday.
Adams finished Sunday’s game with six receptions for 77 yards and one touchdown before exiting. He has 42 receptions for 568 yards and nine touchdowns this season, leading the league in the latter category.
Adams’ Fantasy Outlook
Adams has been awesome this year. He’s averaged 17.0 fantasy points per game at 32 years old. In his last three games, he has hauled in 16 of 23 passes for 172 yards and six touchdowns. That’s a 70 percent catch rate and an average of two touchdowns per game.
He’s essentially been the Rams’ “goal line back” with his patented fades and back shoulder touchdowns. The nine touchdown receptions lead the NFL and represent his most through nine games since his 2020 season with the Green Bay Packers.

The Rams offense is very consolidated with Adams and Puka Nacua commanding the lion’s share of the touches that don’t go to Kyren Williams or Blake Corum. Their usual third wideout, Tutu Atwell, is on injured reserve.
As long as Adams suits up this week, he is safe to put in lineups. The matchup against Seattle in Week 11 represents a critical divisional game, as the 7-2 Rams trail the 7-2 Seahawks in the NFC West standings.
Adams has been durable during his career. He has played in at least 14 games in each of the last five seasons. He has missed more than two games in a single season twice since entering the league as the 53rd overall pick in the 2014 draft with the Packers.
McVay praised Adams’ recent play, saying “I think he’s playing as really his best ball. He’s just getting better and better. He’s like a fine wine; just getting better with age”. Fantasy managers should monitor Wednesday’s practice report, but the expectation should be that Adams plays Sunday against Seattle.
