Top QBs To Start in Week 6

    Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers

It wasn’t a great game from Brock Purdy in Week 6. He lost his first-ever NFL regular-season game and ended up with just 125 passing yards against a stout Cleveland Browns defense.

However, he should be someone to consider for starting lineups again in Week 7 for multiple reasons. First, the amount of teams that are on bye this week is astonishing. You’re going to need a fill-in option.

Additionally, the matchup against the Minnesota Vikings is a favorable one. He may be without Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey — we’ll know more here about their status for Week 7 soon — but the other receiving weapons that he has available to him are more than capable of getting the job done in a plus matchup.

    Sam Howell, Washington Commanders

Did you know that Sam Howell has been a top-15 QB for fantasy football every week so far this season outside of his dud performance in Week 3 against the Buffalo Bills?

    MORE: Fantasy News Tracker

He’s getting the job done, and he was incredibly efficient this past week against the Atlanta Falcons, throwing for three touchdowns on just 151 passing yards.

The New York Giants just held Josh Allen in check in Week 6, but we have a larger sample size to know that this defense can struggle to slow down opposing offenses with regularity. As a streaming option this week, Howell’s a fine option to turn to off the waiver wire.
