Top DSTs To Start in Week 7
Green Bay Packers (vs. DEN)
Are the Green Bay Packers a top-tier defense? No. However, they get a fantastic matchup this week against the Denver Broncos offense that struggles to move the ball routinely.
There are a lot of things wrong with Denver’s offense, and head coach Sean Payton has not been the instant fix that fans thought he would be.
Thus, the Packers are a fine start in a tough bye-week landscape against a poor offense.
Las Vegas Raiders (vs. CHI)
This start is purely with the assumption that Justin Fields will not play this week after suffering a dislocated thumb in the Week 6 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.
If that’s the case, the Las Vegas Raiders defense will most likely see Tyson Bagent in his first-ever NFL start. While he shows promise, he’s still a rookie QB who played D2. He’ll take some time to adjust to the speed of the NFL.
