The quarterback options remaining for Conference Championship Weekend include three of the very best around right now and a feel-good rookie story. When it comes to the fantasy football value of the four options this week, how do our Conference Championship QB rankings shape up?
Conference Championships Fantasy Football QB Rankings
The below rankings are intended as a guide for standard scoring formats. They do not take into account individual league rules and setups. Why not make the most of these rankings and head over to Underdog Fantasy, where they have a range of gameplay options for the Conference Championship Weekend?
1. Joe Burrow | CIN @ KC
2. Jalen Hurts | PHI vs. SF
3. Patrick Mahomes | KC vs. CIN
4. Brock Purdy | SF @ PHI
After his efficient performance in the Divisional Round, it is no real surprise to see Burrow atop these rankings. He was a matter of millimeters from finishing with three passing touchdowns in an impressive outing. With question marks over the health of Hurts and Mahomes, Burrow may well be the safest option of the trio this week.
Hurts did not need to do much as the Philadelphia Eagles eased past the New York Giants, but he did look a touch limited. He still managed to throw for two touchdowns and added a third on the ground. There was just a slight rustiness and lack of that same spark we saw from Hurts during the year. His ability to run the ball gives him a fantasy floor-to-ceiling ratio, so it will be hard not to pick Hurst for your fantasy lineups this week.
Opening the week, we have little knowledge of how mobile Mahomes will be on Sunday. Dealing with a high ankle sprain will almost certainly limit him, but to what extent is unclear. The problem with starting Mahomes this week is that we have no idea not only how efficiently he will play but even whether he can manage a full game against the Bengals.
The wild card option this week is Purdy. He has had contrasting stat lines in the past two weeks and now faces an Eagles defense that caused havoc for Daniel Jones last week. Purdy will be the cheapest option with the enticing upside, but it will be brave to lean on him over one of the other three starting QB options.
