Fantasy Kicker Rankings and Streamers Week 6: Jason Myers, Chase McLaughlin, and Here’s Hoping Injured Kickers Return

The kicker position is one you can stream weekly to gain an advantage. Let's take a look at our top fantasy kicker streamers for Week 6.

Knowing which kickers to start in fantasy football can be critical to winning your matchups. This position, arguably more so than any other, is matchup dependent on a weekly basis, and the best results can be obtained by being flexible with a streaming strategy. Here’s a look at our Week 6 fantasy kicker rankings and the top options to stream this week.

Top Fantasy Kicker Streamers in Week 6

Five weeks of football allows us to really start figuring out who these teams are. Here are my top fantasy kicker streamers, all of whom are rostered in less than 50% of Yahoo leagues.

Jason Myers, Seattle Seahawks (vs. ARI)

Over the past three weeks, the Seahawks’ offense has completely taken off. Amidst their onslaught of touchdowns, Jason Myers has also gotten in on the action. He’s made multiple field goals in all three games and scored double-digit fantasy points.

The Seahawks are inexplicably small home underdogs against the Cardinals. I don’t get it. They are the better team.

The Cardinals have actually played better defensively since getting eviscerated by Patrick Mahomes in Week 1. They are kind of the perfect defense to stream kickers against. They’re a bend-don’t-break defense that is bottom 10 in fantasy points allowed to kickers. Myers is a great streaming option this week.

Chase McLaughlin, Indianapolis Colts (vs. JAX)

The last time the Colts played the Jaguars, it was in Jacksonville back in Week 2. The Colts didn’t score any points. Forgive me for thinking that won’t be the case this time around.

While we can’t expect the Colts to score zero touchdowns for the second consecutive week, we can project this offense to once again be good enough to get into scoring position, but not always capable of finishing drives.

Since replacing Rodrigo Blankenship, Chase McLaughlin has attempted at least two field goals in every game. He’s made all but one and has made all four of his extra points.

I think the Colts get back on track this week, and McLaughlin is able to kick multiple field goals and extra points.

Mason Crosby, Green Bay Packers (vs. NYJ)

I hesitate to recommend anything on this incredibly overrated Packers team. Mason Crosby fit the kicker streaming process last week, and did manage to score 10 fantasy points.

The Packers now return home to host the other New York team, the Jets. It’s a good spot, in theory. The Packers are home favorites in a game they should win. Of course, they should’ve beaten the Giants as well.

Crosby has attempted just six field goals on the season as the Packers have struggled to score points at a clip they are accustomed to. The good news is Crosby hasn’t missed anything all season. If we can get two field goals and two extra points out of him again, that would be a win.

The options at kicker aren’t great this week, making Crosby a worthwhile streaming option.

Honorable Mentions

It’s been a strange year when it comes to kicker injuries. Meaning there have been a lot of them. If guys like Harrison Butker, Matt Prater, Robbie Gould, Dustin Hopkins, and Jake Elliott are able to kick this week, I like all of them above this week’s streaming options.

They’re in a separate section here because they fit the streaming criteria, but they’re not technically streamers since the only reason they’re not rostered in very many leagues is because they’re hurt. But if any of them play, prioritize them over the streamers.
