Cadillac F1 Plots Massive American Spotlight With Blockbuster Super Bowl Livery Reveal

There’s a lot of anticipation surrounding the 2026 F1 season, and Cadillac’s livery reveal is one of the first things fans will get to see ahead of the campaign. After Haas, Cadillac will be the second American team on the F1 grid next year.

While expectations are low, the new team aims to turn some heads with its livery reveal for 2026.

Cadillac Could Have One of the Biggest Livery Reveals in F1 History

Cadillac isn’t relying on a launch event to get the word out; the team plans to announce its 2026 arrival on the largest advertising billboard on the planet, the Super Bowl. The 2025 edition of the flagship event was watched by 127.7 million people, making it a prime marketing space.

The team made the announcement on X, captioning it: “The livery is set. See you Super Bowl Sunday… Mark your calendars.”

While the NFL’s regular season has yet to conclude, Cadillac has already locked in its spot at the Super Bowl on February 8. Exactly a month later, the team will take to the grid as the championship’s 11th outfit.

Cadillac’s addition to the grid adds to F1’s growing popularity in the US. Ever since Liberty Media acquired F1, it has been expanding steadily into the States, as more teams from the country have joined, and more races are being held there as well. Netflix’s “Drive to Survive” series has also played a significant role in the sport’s growing popularity.

Cadillac F1 boss Dan Towriss spoke about the team’s reveal at the Super Bowl, noting the significance of the event.

“The Super Bowl is one of the rare moments in American culture where sports, entertainment and storytelling come together,” he said. “It gives us a chance to introduce the Cadillac Formula 1 Team on a stage that reflects who we are. We’re proud of our American heritage and we want to show up in a way that feels bold, innovative and distinctly ours. This is just the beginning, but it’s a moment I’m incredibly proud of.”

Towriss and company are banking on the exposure, given how expensive it is to run an ad at the Super Bowl. To run a 30-second ad at the NFL’s grand finale reportedly costs around $8 million.

The team might be revealing its livery on Super Bowl Sunday, but its 2026 car will already be running in January, as Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas prepare for the season. Fans will nonetheless be eager to see the American outfit in action next year.
