Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown had to feel like he hit the jackpot when he got traded from the team that drafted him, the Tennessee Titans, to one that has made the Super Bowl twice in his three seasons with them.
During those three seasons, Brown has been a major contributor to the Eagles’ success, including their recent Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The city of Brotherly Love is infatuated with what Brown brings to the team. Unfortunately, Brown has recently shared how someone in the city has let him down.

Recently, rumors that Brown was set to be traded as part of a draft-day package have been shot down, much to the relief of Eagles fans. However, Brown took to his Instagram to release a video expressing his frustration with someone in the city stealing his vehicle from in front of his house.
“Come on, Philly. You stole my whip last night. I’ll make a deal with you, whoever you are, which I’m gonna find out soon. I’ll make a deal with you, just bring the whip back. I won’t press charges. You can go on about your day,” said Brown in a video on his Instagram.
The video, which was shared on X by The Philly Times, did not include specifics about the theft, such as the make of the vehicle or where it was stolen from.

Brown didn’t stop with telling them to return the car, no questions asked; he also made a promise to them.
“But if I find you, it’s gonna be what it’s gonna be,” said Brown before acknowledging the thief’s quickness. “You smooth with it; you pulled up at 3:42, you got outta there at 3:45, you’re fast on your feet. Real fast. I’m gonna show you how fast I am on my feet. Real talk. This fixin’ to get done today. So you might as well pull back up, drop that off. We know where you’re at right now.”
During 2024, Brown suffered a few injuries that kept him out of four games. However, he still led the Eagles in receiving yards with 1,079. He had 67 receptions with seven touchdowns.
The Eagles’ offense didn’t perform as well as expected in 2024, considering they won the Super Bowl. According to PFSN’s Offense+ metric, they had a grade of 77.4, a C+ for the regular season and another C+ for the playoffs at 78.1,
While running back Saquon Barkley had a phenomenal season and was a major contributor to their success, they managed to shake off some earlier struggles and improve. That made them a dual-threat offense in their revenge win over the Chiefs.
Brown signed a three-year extension in 2024 to remain a member of the Eagles through 2029. The deal, worth a total of $96 million, includes $84 million guaranteed, giving him an average annual salary of $32 million.
The Eagles will hope to improve in 2025, and Brown will be a key piece in hoisting another Lombardi.
