It has been a roller-coaster year for A.J. Brown of the Philadelphia Eagles. While the team recovered from last year’s season-ending meltdown, Brown’s actions were a semi-constant source of media attention and amusement.
However, after silencing his critics with an unbelievable NFC Championship Game, the focus was on Brown and the Eagles’ success. As he soaked in a dominant season and victory, he immediately turned to his family, and cameras caught a heartwarming moment between them.

On the season, Brown had a strong year, finishing with 1,079 yards and seven touchdowns on a Philadelphia offense that ranked 14th in the league, according to PFN’s Offense+ metric. However, two incidents placed the spotlight directly on Brown.
The first was a regular-season scuffle in which Brown implied that the passing offense wasn’t functioning up to its potential after a 43-yard outing against the Carolina Panthers. This incident brought with it a ton of scrutiny, but the issue was resolved thanks to a 110-yard explosion the very next game.
Yet, problems persisted, this time in the playoffs, when cameras caught him reading a book on the sidelines while the game was still ongoing. It led to many media members and analysts calling the behavior unprofessional.
But Brown silenced all the critics in the NFC Championship Game. After combining for just 24 yards on three receptions in the first two rounds of the playoffs, he finished with 96 yards on six receptions, including a 31-yard bomb and a touchdown.
His antics once again drew everyone’s attention after the game. However, this time, the moment was as sweet as it could get. On the field, Brown caught up with his children, picking them up in his arms for loving hugs.
His firstborn, Jersee, came into the family in May 2020, and Brown has often cited her as his reason for continuing to play. It was a beautiful sight as the father-daughter duo embraced with Jersee sporting Brown’s No. 11 jersey number on her back.

Two years after Jersee, Arthur Brown Jr. joined the family in September 2022. He was also on the field, holding on to his father’s leg in a rather adorable sight. Right after, Brown walked up to their mother, his girlfriend Kelsey Nicole, sharing a warm hug with his longtime partner.
The family of four has constantly been seen together with Nicole a regular at Eagles games. Just last week, she gave a detailed breakdown of her entire experience of the Divisional Round matchup between Philadelphia and the Los Angeles Rams, sharing glimpses throughout the night.
With the love and support of his family right alongside him, Brown is heading to his second Super Bowl in the last three years. In an interesting coincidence, the last time Brown reached the stage, he recorded 96 yards on six receptions, with a touchdown to his credit as well.
Of course, Philly lost that matchup to the Kansas City Chiefs. This year is a new story — Brown and the Eagles will try to exact revenge for that loss.
