Eagles CB Isaiah Rodgers Follows in A.J. Brown’s Footsteps, Buying Mannequin To Display Game-Worn Super Bowl Uniform

The city of Philadelphia knows how to celebrate a championship, and after the Philadelphia Eagles dominated the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl 59, the party was as wild as ever.

The players inked their celebrations, while some, like wide receiver A.J. Brown, put their Super Bowl-worn jerseys on mannequins to commemorate the moment. Now, Eagles cornerback Isaiah Rodgers has taken the mannequin celebration to a new level.

Isaiah Rodgers Takes A.J. Brown’s Mannequin Celebration to New Level

Brown’s girlfriend, Kelsey Riley, recently revealed in an Instagram story that the receiver had bought a life-sized mannequin to display his unwashed jersey at home.

“POV: Your bf buys a 6’2 mannequin to put his Super Bowl-worn uniform on,” Riley wrote.

“He indeed did not wash it,” she added.

Now, Rodgers has copied Brown’s idea but took it up a notch with a more detailed, high-end mannequin.

“Hey man, I know A.J. Brown came up with the mannequin thing. Look at the detail on my mannequin — wristbands, thigh pads, undershirt coming out. Look at the details, Super Bowl champions coming out,” Rodgers said in a video shared on Instagram.

Rodgers also marked the win with a massive Super Bowl 59 tattoo on his right calf, featuring his jersey No. 34 and the 40-22 score inked above and below it.

While it was the Eagles’ second Super Bowl title, it was Rodgers’ first — one that meant even more considering his journey.

The NFL suspended Rodgers for the 2023 season for violating the league’s gambling policy the year prior. A sixth-round pick of the Indianapolis Colts, Rodgers was viewed as an up-and-coming cornerback, but the Colts released him after the suspension. The Eagles, meanwhile, swooped in and took a chance.

That’s why Rodgers’ first celebration post on social media after the Eagles’ win read:

“I ain’t BET this time but I would’ve BET on myself. I guess you can say life’s a gamble. From the bet slips to the next chip.”

Despite limited snaps on defense, Rodgers finished the regular season with 26 total tackles, a fumble recovery, one blocked kick, and four passes defensed. He stepped up in the playoffs, making six total tackles, a fumble recovery, and defending three passes, including one against Patrick Mahomes in the Super Bowl.

Philadelphia had never won a Super Bowl before 2017, and now, with two titles in eight years, it’s hoping to build the NFL’s next dynasty. Eagles star running back Saquon Barkley thinks it’s possible.
