Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders is one of the most popular rookies in recent memory. Drake Copies Shedeur Sanders’ Iconic “The Shedeur” Celebration in Latest Single
Sanders is known for his swagger, and his iconic “The Shedeur” celebration is one of the most popular celebrations by a college football player in recent years.
From DJ Khaled to Rick Ross to Caitlin Clark, many famous personalities have copied this celebration over the years, and the latest entrant to the list is Drake. The rapper released his new single, “What Did I Miss?” on Friday, July 4, through an eerie live stream, and the viral music video featured the rapper doing “The Shedeur” celebration.
Of course, there were shots taken at his rival Kendrick Lamar, who performed at the Super Bowl 59 halftime show, but what stood out to some fans was Drake flexing his watch in Sanders’ style.

Sanders has been doing the celebration for several years and would hold up his wrist, as if he were showing off his watch, whenever he scored a touchdown or made a big play. After defeating Arizona State in 2023, he even ran off the field and brought out his $70,000 Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 15500 to celebrate after beating the team.
Shedeur Sanders’ watch is a custom Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 15500 coated with 30 carats of VVS diamonds — worth about $70,000.
He just took down Arizona State and immediately ran over to flex it in front of the crowd.

In the music video, Drake flexed his watch while rapping about a “Tiffany Blue Stones” watch: “Y’all been on that type of timing for too long / Iceman, Tiffany Blue Stones.” It’s also worth noting that Sanders has a rap track of his own titled “Perfect Timing.”

Deion Sanders Credits DJ Khaled and Rick Ross for Stamping Shedeur’s Celebration
Shedeur gets some of his swagger from his Hall of Fame father, Deion Sanders, who also coached him at Jackson State and Colorado. According to Deion, DJ Khaled and Ross helped turn his son’s celebration popular and trendy.

Deion said that once Khaled and Ross “stamped” the celebration in 2023, other big celebrities started doing it too, including rappers, NFL players, NBA players, and MLB players.
“Much love and shout out to DJ Khaled. He is the one who stamped it. You know, when Khaled stamps it, it’s 100%; when Rick Ross stamps it, it’s royalty. I love to see it,” a proud Deion said.
In addition to Drake, some of the big names who have copied Sanders’ celebration include Caitlin Clark, Breece Hall, Garrett Wilson, Davante Adams, and Chet Holmgren.
