The feud between President Donald Trump and pop superstar Taylor Swift rages on.
On Friday, May 16, President Trump took aim at the girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, commenting on how Swift has seemingly lost her luster since their beef began.

Trump and Swift have engaged in a petty rivalry since the 2024 election campaign. Swift voiced her support for presidential candidate Kamala Harris, drawing the ire of Trump.
“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,” Swift wrote on Instagram to her 283 million followers. “I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”
Swift also called out a fake AI-generated image that portrayed her as a supporter of President Trump. Trump shared the image as a screenshot.
“Recently I was made aware that AI of ‘me’ falsely endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential run was posted to his site. It really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation. It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter,” Swift explained. “The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.”
Trump responded to the singer by posting, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”
Trump and Swift Both Attended Super Bowl LIX
Both President Trump and Swift were at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, Louisiana. Swift was there to support her boyfriend Kelce, whose Chiefs were representing the AFC against the Philadelphia Eagles. Ultimately, it was not the Chiefs’ night as they were defeated 40-22, with Kelce having a poor game. He only had four receptions for 39 yards, his worst Super Bowl performance to date.
After Trump was cheered by the crowd and Swift was booed, the president took his social media platforms to mock the singer.
“The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “MAGA is very unforgiving!” Trump then included videos where he was cheered and Swift was booed.
When Trump hosted the Eagles at the White House on April 28, he brought up Swift.
“It was an incredible game. A little surprising, but right from the beginning of the first quarter of the big game, which I was there — I watched in person,” Trump said. “I was there along with Taylor Swift, how did that work out? How did that one work out?”
Twelve Eagles players elected to skip the visit, including Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Brandon Graham, Nolan Smith, Zack Baun, Nakobe Dean, C.J Gardner-Johnson, Darius Slay, and Quinyon Mitchell.
