Tyreek Hill’s future with the Miami Dolphins has been an ever-changing storyline in the 2025 NFL offseason. His time in Miami has been a rollercoaster, and now, it feels the ride could end.

Tyreek Hill’s Future With the Miami Dolphins Remains a Mystery
Just minutes after the 2024 season ended with a loss to the New York Jets, Hill made waves very bluntly, saying, “I’m out, bruh. It was great playing here, but at the end of the day, I have to do what’s best for my career.” Hill later attempted to walk back his comments.
“What y’all had heard at the end of the season was frustration. I’ve been winning my whole life, bruh. Y’all don’t understand, I bust my ass every day, so I deserve to feel like that. I deserve to have some kind of opinion. S***, y’all just want me to say, ‘Oh well, get ’em next year?’ Nah, f*** that.”
Hill continued to explain his postgame comments, saying, “We’ve got to come back. S***, we got to put some pressure on motherf******, like hey bruh, y’all got to fix this s***, come on. Add some motherf****** dogs in this b****. I compete; I love to compete.”
Hill wanted a chance to reclaim his words, but it was hard to ignore the possibility that he was speaking his truth. Since then, a few cryptic tweets have made it feel like the apology was nothing more than damage control.
Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel says this morning he has not spoken with Tyreek Hill about these cryptic tweets.
"Tyreek's known for whatever antics on social media," McDaniel said.
He said he's confident, if something really needed to be communicated, he would hear it from Hill. https://t.co/viz9E3Pl5u

Sure, Tyreek is known for stirring up chaos on social media; it’s part of his persona. He enjoys playing mind games with fans on Twitter, but this time, it feels different.
Mike McDaniel Downplays the Drama
Coach Mike McDaniel has downplayed this situation and is “confident” that it isn’t a big deal but could be a significant red flag. The fact that McDaniel came out and said he hasn’t spoken to Hill directly adds to the uncertainty and is enough to make one not fully trust anyone’s words in this situation.
There is no doubt that McDaniel is on the hot seat this year with the Dolphins. The Miami Dolphins are 0-2 in the playoffs under his leadership and haven’t won a postseason game in 25 years. Despite flashes of regular-season success, the team fails to elevate its game when it matters most.
The Future of the Dolphins
While Hill’s drama continues to headline this franchise, the problems are greater than just Hill and his coach. The franchise has been in disarray for decades, cycling through front-office personnel, coaches, and talented players without finding proper stability.
At this point, it is anyone’s guess what will happen next. Whether Hill stays or goes, one thing is consistent: The Dolphins’ problems won’t be solved by keeping or losing one player, even one as electrifying as Hill.
