Who Is Cam Skattebo’s Girlfriend?

Skattebo is off the market. The explosive running back is in a relationship with track and field athlete Chloe Rodriguez who competes at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. She is a star in multiple events including the 200m, 400m, 4x400m. Recently, she qualified for the U.S Olympic Team Trials.

Rodriguez is very active on social media, often sharing her athletic achievements and zest for life — particularly through her Instagram account. She is listed as a sprinter and hurdler on her college bio page.

The couple met during their time together at Sacramento State, where Skattebo played from 2021 to 2022. Rodriguez served on the school’s cheerleading squad, in addition to her prolific track career, and graduated in 2024. She has since been frequently seen supporting her boyfriend during football games at Arizona State.

Before the Sugar Bowl, Rodriguez posted an Instagram story showing off a custom game-day outfit — a black and yellow jacket with “Skattebo” and the No. 4 written on the back, representing her boyfriend. She captioned the post “great time” and tagged Skattebo.

Skattebo’s College Career Overview and Draft Projection

Skattebo enteredthe 2025 NFL Draft as one of the most versatile and unconventional running back prospects in the class. Known more for his all-around production than for elite athleticism, Skattebo brings a hybrid skill set that could fit perfectly in today’s evolving offensive schemes.

His senior season at Arizona State showcased his peak potential. In 2024, he totaled 1,711 rushing yards on 293 carries, along with 605 receiving yards on 45 catches, and 24 total touchdowns. He averaged 5.8 yards per carry during the 2024 season.

His performance in the Peach Bowl had everyone talking. Skattebo was named Offensive MVP after a stunning all-purpose display: 143 rushing yards, 99 receiving yards, 42 passing yards, and three total touchdowns, including one through the air.

What makes Skattebo stand out isn’t one dominant trait, but rather his ability to do a bit of everything. He’s a tough, creative runner who can catch passes, throw the occasional trick play, and consistently make something out of nothing. That kind of versatility has drawn the attention of scouts looking for value beyond the first round.

According to the latest 7-round mock draft from PFSN, Skattebo is projected to go to the Kansas City Chiefs at No. 95 overall. It’s a logical fit as the Chiefs could use a complementary piece to Isaiah Pacheco, especially with Pacheco coming off an injury-riddled season and heading into the final year of his rookie contract.

Skattebo doesn’t have the elite breakaway speed or bruising size that usually headlines the running back position, but his adaptability could make him a valuable chess piece in the right system. Most draft analysts see him landing somewhere between the late third and early fourth round.
