The Denver Broncos have enjoyed a strong offseason so far, adding key pieces on both sides of the ball. Those moves have positioned them well ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft, where they can afford to target skill-position players.
According to the latest seven-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft from PFSN’s Brentley Weissman, that’s exactly what they do.

20) Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
“Like the Raiders, the Denver Broncos had one of the worst rushing attacks in the NFL,” Weissman wrote.
“The lack of a genuine bell-cow back hurt this offense, and with a young rookie quarterback already in the fold, it makes sense to pair him with a young running back. Omarion Hampton is a bruising runner with outstanding vision, balance, and quickness. He is also an excellent back in all phases of the game and can be a trusted bell cow for this offense.”
Three different Broncos running backs saw extended action in 2024, but none were able to lock down the starting role. In Hampton, Denver would get a Day 1 starter who could eliminate the uncertainty that hurt the offense last season.
51) Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Bowling Green
“The Broncos signed Evan Engram this offseason, but Harold Fannin Jr. provides enough versatility to warrant consideration,” Weissman wrote. “He is a mismatched weapon and would be a fun chess piece for head coach Sean Payton to play with.”
Two-tight end sets are growing more common in today’s NFL, and pairing Fannin with Engram could open up the middle of the field. If Marvin Mims Jr., Troy Franklin, or Devaughn Vele emerges alongside Courtland Sutton on the outside, Engram and Fannin could cause serious matchup issues.
85) Kevin Winston Jr., S, Penn State
“Kevin Winston Jr. missed a large portion of this season with an injury, but he has excellent physical traits,” Weissman wrote. “He has the size and athleticism to be a potential starter down the road.”
Winston was on pace to be a top safety prospect before an ACL injury ended his 2024 campaign. With his physicality and coverage skills, he could be a steal on Day 2.
122) Nick Nash, WR, San Jose State
Nash is one of the more intriguing names in this class. A former college quarterback, he switched to wide receiver and broke out in 2023, becoming a Biletnikoff Award finalist.
191) Jay Higgins, LB, Iowa
Higgins’ NFL Scouting Combine showing didn’t boost his stock, but his production is hard to ignore. He totaled 295 tackles (132 solo), three sacks, and five interceptions over his final two seasons at Iowa.
197) Tahj Brooks, RB, Texas Tech
Brooks ended his college career with back-to-back 1,500-yard rushing seasons. In 2024, he rushed for over 100 yards in all 11 games and scored in 10 of them.
208) Kaden Prather, WR, Maryland
Prather, at 6’3 1/2″, offers size and serviceable speed. He never posted elite numbers in college but proved capable of holding his own against top Big Ten competition.
