Deion Sanders has been one of the busiest people in the sporting world. After conquering the NFL and the MLB, he took over college football as a head coach, bringing almost instantaneous success to the Colorado Buffaloes.
But alongside his responsibilities to the gridiron, he has also been a family man. With five children, Sanders remains committed to being a loving father, taking time for them regularly. Recently, that involved some beautiful moments with his eldest daughter, Deiondra, and his grandson, Snow.
Deion Sanders Spends Heartwarming Moment With Deiondra and Snow
Taking to Instagram, the legendary two-time Super Bowl champion shared a glimpse into a warm afternoon with his family. In the album was a picture of the playing area, aptly titled “Snow’s Playground.”
Next, he shared a video of his grandson riding on the swing, with Deiondra Sanders pushing him from behind. Another picture of the playing area and an overjoyed Snow on the swing rounded it out.
Alongside the pictures and videos, the head coach of the Buffaloes also had a beautiful message for the mother-son duo. “Lord thank you for my DAUGHTER @deiondrasanders for blessing me with my grandson SNOW. God you are incredible. I only know how to be a blessing so SNOW got it coming. I Love him like he’s mine!”

He even added a hilarious line, “He’s cutting into @shilosanders Trust fund. Lololololol,” drawing a joke at the expense of his son Shilo Sanders, who’s joined the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
For the Sanders family, however, the arrival of Snow was a blessing and a miracle. Before his birth, Sanders’ eldest daughter was suffering from fibroids, raising potential concerns about his health and safety.
However, they were safely able to bring him into the world on August 9. For Deiondra, it was a heartwrenching journey that took a toll on her mental health in the weeks after his birth as well.
In an appearance on “The Baller Show”, she opened up about the emotional toll. “I didn’t really think it was that real because I was like, ‘Oh, I have a lot of help, you know. I don’t think I’ll be going through it.’ But it hit me hard. I still had so much help, and I still have so much help, and it’s still thoughts that I’m like, ‘Why do I think like this?’
“Even in the very beginning, I’m like, ‘I feel like I should be happier.’ Me, having a new baby, why do I feel like this? Different emotions that I had are very real, and no one really tells you how to deal with them. No one tells you that a lot of stuff you will feel is not real.”
She has found some happiness and stability with her emotions and is proud to be the mother of her young son.
