‘He Has a True Gift’ – Former NFL Star Deion Sanders Breaks Down 1 Fact That Separates Son Shedeur From Other Quarterbacks

Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders broke down the one fact that separates Shedeur Sanders from other QBs and warned NFL teams.

Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders was all praise for his son and quarterback Shedeur Sanders who will feature on the NFL Draft board next year. So far this season, the younger Sanders has played at an elite level, with many hailing him to be among the top picks alongside fellow teammate and two-way star Travis Hunter.

In the recent episode of Speak, Coach Prime joined Michael Irvin and others, discussing many things, including Shedeur’s potential draft destination.

Deion Sanders Warns NFL Teams Looking To Draft Shedeur Sanders

While Deion Sanders didn’t shortlist any teams or regions, which was primarily asked by Keyshawn Johnson, he did share an understanding of what he wants from a team that drafts his son.

“Somebody that can handle the quarterback that he is, somebody that can handle understanding what he’s capable of, someone who has had success in the past handling quarterbacks, or someone in an organization who understands what they’re doing — not just throwing you out there without the support or infrastructure of the team,” Sanders said.

“Forget the line; he’s played with lines that haven’t been great, but he’s been able to do his thing. But just the infrastructure of the team and the direction of where we’re going — that’s important.”

Deion further pointed out what separates Shedeur from other quarterbacks.

“One thing about Shedeur that separates him from a lot of quarterbacks: Shedeur started every game in high school and every game in college but one,” Sanders added.

“He is like that, man. He has a true gift that comes from God, and he loves this game of football. You see him styling like his daddy every now and then, but that’s just who he is — he got that, honestly. You can see that he got that honestly.

“This kid loves the game and has an insatiable appetite to win, and I want somebody to be able to propel him to the next level. It’s not just about getting drafted by any team, because we ain’t having it.”

Deion Sanders has been highly vocal of having necessary infrastructure that can help Shedeur get better when he turns pro. While he didn’t pinpoint any particular team, when Johnson asked the Colorado HC if he would intervene in case he feels the coach isn’t right for his son, he won’t think twice before stepping in.

“Yeah, but I’m not gonna do it publicly,” Sanders said. “I’ll do it privately.”

At the moment, the Las Vegas Raiders are a top candidate expected to draft Shedeur Sanders. While the Raiders don’t have the superior infrastructure in line with Deion’s expectations, they do have seven time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady as their minority owner. He’s the kind of role model who Shedeur can learn and develop his game further from.
