Cowboys Star Micah Parsons Drops Cheeky 6-Word Jab at Jaxson Dart Over Rookie QB’s Viral Hunting Picture

Dallas Cowboys pass rusher Micah Parsons didn’t hold back when reacting to a viral photo of New York Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart. In classic NFC East fashion, Parsons found a way to blend humor with rivalry, and it might just add fuel to the fire in 2025.

Parsons’ shot? A six-word jab that said everything.

Micah Parsons Fires at Jaxson Dart Over Hunting Habits

Dart, a first-round pick by the Giants, isn’t just making headlines for his potential on the field. The rookie quarterback has been in the spotlight for his passion for hunting, and one photo in particular had social media buzzing.

Earlier this offseason, Dart was seen proudly posing with what looks like a mountain lion he had hunted, sharing the image on social media while dressed in full camouflage. Parsons, who famously refers to himself as a lion, fired back with a quote post on X: “He hurt one of my people.”

It was a cheeky moment, but in typical Parsons fashion, it carried some bite.

The All-Pro edge rusher has quickly become one of the most outspoken personalities in the league, especially when it comes to NFC East rivalries. He’s never hidden his disdain for the Philadelphia Eagles. The Giants and Dart are next in line for some targeted attention.

While Parsons seems ready to chase Dart down, there’s one catch: the rookie may not even start this year.

New York added both Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston in the offseason, giving Dart time to develop before taking the reins. That means Parsons might have to wait for his shot. Still, when the Cowboys and Giants eventually meet with Dart under center, it’s safe to assume the former Penn State star will be circling his calendar.

Whether or not this tweet was meant to spark a personal rivalry, it’s another example of Parsons’ ability to grab headlines without taking a single snap.

Will Dart’s Hunting Habits Bring More Heat?

Dart’s recent viral photo isn’t the only time he’s been seen enjoying the outdoors. He’s previously posed with a dead cougar and was featured in a video high-fiving friends after a turkey hunt in early April. While hunting is legal and common in some communities, it can stir public backlash, especially for high-profile quarterbacks chasing trophy kills.

Other NFL QBs have drawn scrutiny for similar posts in the past. For Dart, who’s already in the spotlight as a potential franchise savior in New York, the added attention might not help his case.

Parsons, meanwhile, just made sure the rookie’s welcome to the NFC East won’t be a quiet one.
