Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy let his frustration get the best of him as he smashed his device on the ground during the first half of the game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Amidst the bad run of form, Cowboys fans are unimpressed with the 60-year-old and want him gone sooner rather than later.
Cowboys Fans Want Mike McCarthy Gone as Soon as Possible
The Cowboys are on a two-game losing streak and will possibly extend it to three with their impending loss against the Falcons. The 2011 Super Bowl-winning head coach with the Green Bay Packers is left with no supporters in the stands.
“Please fire Mike McCarthy lol this s**t is unbearable,” one fan tweeted during the game.

With a record of 3-4, this is McCarthy’s worst start to the season with the Cowboys since he joined America’s Team in 2020, and the voices calling for his removal are getting louder.
“Very embarrassing performance by the Cowboys. Fire Mike McCarthy and promote Al Harris to interim Head Coach,” one fan tweeted on X (previously Twitter).
“How does Mike McCarthy still have a job,” another fan tweeted.

Jerry Jones Reminds McCarthy of Hot Seat
In his tenure with the Cowboys, McCarthy has failed to achieve postseason success, with his playoff record at 1-3. However, this season, he doesn’t have the backing of his exceptional regular-season performance to hang his hat on.
With a record of 45-29, McCarthy’s days could be numbered in Dallas.
During an earlier appearance on 105.3 The Fan, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones gave an ultimatum to McCarthy.
“We’re designing bad plays, or we’re designing bad concepts,” Jones said. “The facts are that there’s some of that, but there’s also some of execution.”
McCarthy has been dealing with disciplinary issues in the locker room. However, this season’s abysmal performances will be placed on his shoulders if things do not improve soon.
