The Los Angeles Rams parted ways with their Super Bowl hero Cooper Kupp this offseason. The veteran receiver had an impressive eight-year career with the Rams and is now set to play for the Seattle Seahawks in 2025. Let’s break down his deal, 2025 salary, net worth, and career earnings.
Cooper Kupp’s Contract and Salary
Kupp had a cap hit of $29.78 million in 2025, and the Rams decided to release him because of this, in addition to his dropping production. He signed a three-year deal worth $45 million with the Seahawks, with $17.5 million guaranteed and a $12 million signing bonus.
Kupp will have a base salary of nearly $5 million in 2025 while carrying a cap hit of $9.3 million and a dead cap value of $17.5 million. He will earn a base salary of nearly $13 million each in 2026 and 2027.
Kupp was earlier on a three-year contract extension worth $80.1 million with the Rams. He was handed the lucrative extension after leading them to the Super Bowl LVI win, where he recorded eight receptions for 92 yards and two touchdowns (including the game-winner) to earn MVP honors. That season, Kupp had a career year, catching 145 passes for 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns.
However, his production dropped in the following three years, and he failed to cross 900 yards in each of the three seasons. Last season, Kupp tallied 710 yards and six touchdowns on 67 receptions.
Kupp’s Net Worth and Career Earnings
Kupp’s net worth is estimated to be approximately $18 million by Celebrity Net Worth. However, throughout the course of his professional career, the star wide receiver has earned $93.6 million from his NFL contracts alone, so perhaps this estimate is a bit low.
This figure doesn’t even factor in Kupp’s various endorsement deals, including his partnerships with Nike, Snickers, Unify, Lexani, and Pataday.
Also, Kupp owns a $3.5 million home in Wilsonville, Oregon. The home is 5,700 square feet, and there’s a 4,600-square-foot training facility on the 4.09 acres of land. However, Kupp is reportedly looking to sell the house.
Kupp has thrived since entering the NFL as the No. 69 overall pick in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, and he’s done extremely well for himself financially, too. He signed a four-year, $3.83 million rookie contract upon being drafted and later earned a three-year, $48 million contract extension with the Rams in 2020. While he didn’t receive all of his $80.1 million extension signed in 2022, Kupp managed to get $20 million from it.
