Cincinnati Bengals News: Which Free Agents Will the Bengals Re-Sign in 2024?

Will Tee Higgins or Jonah Williams re-sign in 2024? We're previewing next offseason and MNF on the latest edition of The PFN Cincinnati Bengals Podcast.

The Cincinnati Bengals lost the first start of Jake Browning’s career in Week 12, falling to the Pittsburgh Steelers, 16-10. With Joe Burrow on injured reserve, the Bengals had few offensive answers — but Browning was hardly the only problem on Sunday.

On the most recent edition of The PFN Cincinnati Bengals Podcast, we recap Bengals-Steelers, preview Cincinnati’s upcoming Monday night game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and look ahead to the club’s 2024 free agent class.

PFN Bengals Podcast: Tee Higgins, Jonah Williams, D.J. Reader Headed for Open Market

Browning struggled against the Steelers’ defense. He threw a back-breaking red-zone interception on the Bengals’ first third-quarter drive and left a lot of yardage on the field.

But the rest of the Bengals’ roster didn’t offer Browning much assistance.

Cincinnati’s feeble rushing attack managed just 25 yards on the ground and posted zero successful runs. Joe Mixon was the only running back to touch the ball; rookie Chase Brown, activated from injured reserve before Sunday’s game, did not play a snap.

Week 12’s result forced us to start thinking about the offseason and the Bengals’ intriguing class of pending free agents, which includes WRs Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd, OT Jonah Williams, DT D.J. Reader, and CB Chidobe Awuzie.

Plus, we preview what should have been a massive AFC tilt between the Bengals and the Jags. Can Cincinnati get over their prime-time woes with an MNF win? Or will Trevor Lawrence, Calvin Ridley, and Co. be too much to overcome?

We’ll be returning to your airwaves each and every week — join us next week when we recap Bengals-Jaguars and preview Cincinnati’s Week 14 game against the Indianapolis Colts.
