Before selecting Patrick Mahomes in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs were in discussions with Manziel. It’s wild to think that the Chiefs potentially signing Manziel in free agency could have prevented them from drafting Mahomes.

That one potential acquisition could have changed the entirety of the NFL as we know it. After the Chiefs passed on the opportunity to sign Manziel, he eventually signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL and never received another opportunity in the NFL again.

Taylor Swift Secretly Attended Chiefs Games Before Her Relationship With Travis Kelce Went Public

Ahead of making her romantic relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce public, singer Taylor Swift was secretly attending Chiefs games. Chiefs defensive backs coach Dave Merritt discussed Swift’s presence around the team in a recent interview.

“When she started to come around, it was privately,” Merritt said. “She was coming into the stadiums without people really knowing until the camera put a big spotlight on her.”
