‘Come to KC’ — Chiefs Fans Recruit Breece Hall After Jets RB Drops Cryptic Social Media Post Following Sauce Gardner Trade

The Kansas City Chiefs desperately need some help for their running game. Isiah Pacheco is out with a leg injury, and although he is not expected to miss significant time, he has not been as explosive as he was in the past.

Meanwhile, with the New York Jets in the middle of a surprising panic sale, hopeful fans would rather see Breece Hall take his talents to Arrowhead Stadium.

Why Are Chiefs Fans Pushing for a Breece Hall Trade?

The Jets recently traded star cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts and star defensive tackle Quinnen Williams to the Dallas Cowboys.

After watching his teammates leave, Hall posted a cryptic message on X, and that did not go unnoticed by Chiefs fans, who immediately began their recruiting pitch.

“Come to KC demon,” one fan urged him while posting an edit of him in a Chiefs jersey.

The pleas became more direct as other fans chimed in. “Force a trade to the chiefs please,” another one said.

The online campaign continued with calls for Hall to take matters into his own hands. “Pick the chiefs, demand that you go to the chiefs. Mahomes need a real killer in the RB room,” another fan added, while another said, “Go to the front office and tell them you want to be a chief and come home.”

Some fans even directed their appeals toward the team’s front office. “PLEASE BRETT VEACH SAVE ME,” one fan begged.

Statistically, the desire for Hall makes sense. Through eight games, Hall has carried the ball 117 times for 581 rushing yards and a couple of scores.

Despite the Jets’ offensive struggles, he has still averaged a respectable 72.6 rushing yards per game, which is nearly twice as many as any Chiefs running back this season. Beyond his work on the ground, he has also been a factor in the passing game, hauling in 21 receptions on 30 targets for 178 receiving yards.

While the Chiefs are averaging 121.2 rushing yards per game, the 12th-most in the league, that figure is bolstered by Patrick Mahomes averaging 31.7 rushing yards per game. The team has already lost four games this season, which is tied for the most losses in the Mahomes era.

Kansas City needs to make a statement to come out of the bye week stronger, especially after a heartbreaking loss to the Buffalo Bills. A move for a player of Hall’s caliber is the type of transaction that could get the team over the top and back into championship form.
