    The Nevada Wolf Pack ended an almost two-year conference drought with a 55-10 win over the San Jose Spartans in Week 12 of college football action. The Wolf Pack improved to (2-8, 1-5) for the season ahead of their Week 13 clash against the Wyoming Cowboys.

    On the other hand, the Fresno State Bulldogs defeated the Cowboys 24-3 to bring them to 4-6 for the season. The Cowboys have two crucial games remaining in a bid to become bowl-eligible this season.

    How To Watch Nevada vs. Wyoming

    The Wolf Pack versus Cowboys game will be available to watch on Nevada Sports Net and streamed on the Mountain West Network and the MW App. John Ramey will do the play-by-play, with Jared Petrino as the analyst.

    The game, which will be at Laramie War Memorial Stadium, starts at 2 p.m. ET on Saturday, Nov. 22, and will also be available on the Wolf Pack Radio Network and KOZZ 105.7 FM. Alex Margulies and Mike Edwards will be in the booth.

    The Cowboys lead the series 6-4 and have won four of the last five games against the Wolf Pack. Nevada lost their last game at Laramie War Memorial Stadium in 2019, 31-3.

    Cowboys Will Retire Josh Allen’s Jersey Against Nevada

    The Cowboys will retire reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen’s No. 7 jersey at halftime of their game against the Wolf Pack. The Buffalo Bills quarterback led the Cowboys to a Mountain West Championship game and two eight-win seasons before being drafted No. 7 overall by the NFL franchise in 2018.

    Sawvel Addresses Cowboys’ Struggles

    The Cowboys struggled to gain any offensive momentum during their loss to Fresno State and only managed 184 total yards (107 rushing, 77 passing). During his weekly news conference before the clash against the Wolf Pack, Cowboys coach Jay Sawvel addressed his team’s struggles against Fresno State.

    “We didn’t give ourselves a real good chance. We made too many mistakes in critical situations,” Sawvel said. “We’ve got to coach better, and that’s the bottom line to it.”

    Choate Thrilled With Wolf Pack’s Big Win

    During his postgame news conference, Wolf Pack coach Jeff Choate was simply thrilled to have won a game, despite the lopsided scoreline against a struggling conference opponent.

    “A win is a win,” Jeff Choate said. “It’s nice to get some other guys opportunities to get out there and play when you have a lop-sided margin, but I wouldn’t care if it was 6-3. I would be thrilled.”

    The Wolf Pack will attempt to carry forward the offensive momentum to Week 13 against the struggling Cowboys on the road.
