“Leave your thinking caps at the door, everyone. We have agendas to fulfill,” one fan claimed. The recent AP Poll Top 25 rankings have been scrutinised heavily, with one of the most unpopular calls being the decision to include the Tennessee Volunteers.
If Tennessee is ranked or anyone but the defending champs are #1 then you can call yourself the Mickey Mouse committee.

“If Tennessee is ranked or anyone but the defending champs are #1 then you can call yourself the Mickey Mouse committee.” One fan angrily called out. These recent AP Top 25 rankings have sparked concerns of potential bias towards the SEC.
Despite having a 6-3 record this year, the Volunteers still managed to sneak into the Top 25 rankings over the likes of the Iowa Hawkeyes. According to PFSN’s Football Playoff meter, Iowa has a 28.67% chance of reaching the playoffs, while the Volunteers sit with a 0.48% shot.

“A bunch of old dudes……need to inject some Jordan Reffett and Josh Pate into that group!” One fan demanded. The College Football Playoff Selection Committee is primarily comprised of former head coaches and athletic directors.
The most notable members of the committee include College Football Hall of Fame member Will Shields, Arkansas’ Razorbacks athletic director Hunter Yurachek, Baylor athletic director Mack Rhoades, and former Oregon State head coach Mike Riley.
It would be more interesting if it was their actual school’s hat and not a generics CFP hat. Does this mean they are leaving their non biased options at the door and do what they want?

“It would be more interesting if it were their actual school’s hat and not a generic CFP hat. Does this mean they are leaving their non-biased options at the door and doing what they want?” Another fan questioned.
While the overall consensus surrounding the video has been entirely negative, fans are still hoping that this year’s College Football Playoff Selection Committee will yield better results than the questionable Associated Press Top 25 rankings. However, there will undoubtedly be controversial decisions that will be scrutinised at 8 p.m. EST tonight.
