Who Is Caleb Williams’ Girlfriend? Rumors Galore As Williams Walks the Red Carpet With Alina Thyregod

Star QB prospect Caleb Williams is expected to be selected No. 1 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft. Will there be a lady on his arm in the green room on draft day?

At this point, it’s more or less common knowledge that the Chicago Bears will make former USC quarterback Caleb Williams the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft just a few weeks from now. You’ll have to scour the internet to find a mock draft that does not concur with that sentiment.

Williams enjoyed a prolific college career, scoring 120 total touchdowns and notching 23 victories in what amounts to two-and-a-half seasons worth of work. He also earned Heisman honors for his standout 2022 campaign. If he’s indeed a Bear, he’ll inherit an enviable receiving corps featuring the likes of DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, and Cole Kmet.

He’ll also inherit a whole new fanbase. Although, some closer supporters will presumably just be swapping jerseys alongside him.

Does Caleb Williams Have a Girlfriend?

Multiple sources around the web indicate that Williams did indeed have a long-term girlfriend. According to The U.S. Sun, Williams had been official with his girlfriend, Valery Orellana, at least since the two were students at neighboring high schools in the D.C. metro area together back in 2020.

However, ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft, Williams tells The Spun that the two are no longer together.

Further evidence that the couple has split is a pre-draft video posted on social media where Williams is seen walking with arms linked with another young lady who is not Orellana but instead Alina Thyregod.

A couple weeks before walking the red carpet, Williams posted this on social media in regards to his lady friend’s dress.

A Look at Williams’ Relationship Timeline

As noted above, Williams and his new girlfriend have made their relationship known just recently and the couple is new to the general public. How long the two have been together is unknown at this time.

While it is no longer an active relationship, Williams and Orellana had been together since at least 2020 before their assumed recent split. Information in the public sphere about the young lady, or the couple as a whole, had been relatively scarce, and even more so now with his new girlfriend.

While there isn’t much information on the new relationship, Orellana was quite private herself, although there are a few instances on her Instagram page, which is publicly accessible, in which she can be seen supporting her now ex-superstar boyfriend.

Orellana’s proven to be quite ambitious in her own right. There are several impressive extracurriculars of note on her LinkedIn profile. For instance, she is the co-founder of “Evenin’ Out The Playing Field.”

Orellana describes it as an “organization targeting people of color to participate in predominately white sports to increase diversity and inclusion with free clinics that bridge the gap of accessibility.”

On the organization’s website, there’s one such recent clinic featuring several North Carolina field hockey players to lead the proceedings. It’s a unique and admirable program Orellana’s helped to create and a strong indicator that she’s a young woman with her priorities in order.

With that in mind, it doesn’t seem all too surprising that she was romantically drawn to another driven young individual in Williams, but as many things in life come and go, it looks like this relationship has as well.
