Buccaneers vs. Washington prediction, pick, odds, and how to watch the Week 10 game

Here's everything you need to know for the Buccaneers vs. Washington game, including betting odds, channel options, and a prediction.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Washington Football Team matchup is a rematch of 2020’s Wild Card battle. While Taylor Heinicke flashed in that contest, Tom Brady and Co. won’t be as forgiving this time around. Here is a Buccaneers vs. Washington prediction, along with the NFL odds, TV channel, and live stream options for the Week 10 contest.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Washington Football Team prediction and odds | Week 10

  • Spread: Buccaneers -9.5
  • Moneyline: Buccaneers -410, Washington +310
  • Over/Under: 51.5
  • Odds from DraftKings sportsbook

This should be a quick preview. Both teams are coming off a bye week, but that matters much more for Brady and the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay has been dealing with injuries all over its roster, and giving Brady two weeks to dissect a defense should be illegal. Plus, the Bucs want to get back in the win column after falling to a Trevor Siemian-led Saints team in Week 8. Meanwhile, Washington has lost their last four and seem to be free falling.

Tampa is 5-3 against the spread, while WFT is a whopping 1-7. And although 9.5 is a lot of points, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bucs fly to Landover, Maryland, and make it feel like a home game. Washington hasn’t scored more than 13 points in any of their last three contests, and the Buccaneers generate 90+ more yards and allow 50+ fewer yards than the Football Team.

Suffice to say, this should be a one-sided affair. Heinicke is a good story, but he isn’t someone who should have the keys to the franchise. Tampa Bay will make that very clear this weekend while Brady rips Washington’s disappointing defense to shreds.

Buccaneers vs. Washington prediction

Despite the extra week off, Brady is likely going to be without two of his favorite weapons. Antonio Brown was seen in a walking boot on Monday, and Bruce Arians had this to say about Rob Gronkowski: “You still have to worry a little bit about Gronk.” As a reminder, Gronkowski missed multiple weeks with a ribs injury, came back in Week 8, and was ultimately pulled from that contest with a back issue.

Nevertheless, Cameron Brate, O.J. Howard, Leonard Fournette, Giovani Bernard, Chris Godwin, and Mike Evans are a more than sufficient supporting cast. Tampa Bay’s defense has dealt with injuries in the secondary, but Richard Sherman and Jamel Dean should be close to 100% this week. Take the Bucs to win straight up, against the spread, with some cheddar on the over.

Prediction: Buccaneers 35, Washington 17
