Who Are Brock Purdy’s Siblings? Get To Know Whittney and Chubba Purdy

Brock Purdy has a close relationship with his siblings. Find out everything there is to know about Whittney and Chubba Purdy.

Brock Purdy has become a household name as quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers, but his competitive relationship with his siblings has given him the platform to succeed.

Growing up in Arizona, Prudy is extremely close to his parents and his siblings, who have molded him into the player he is today. Let’s take a look at what we know about Purdy’s siblings.

    Who Are Brock Purdy’s Siblings?

Purdy has two siblings, one brother, Chubba, and one sister, Whittney. Whittney is the eldest, Brock is the middle child, and Chubba is the youngest.

The whole Purdy family is incredibly athletic, with all three having college sports careers.

    Chubba Purdy

As mentioned, Chubba (real name Preston) is the youngest of the Purdy family and has followed in his brother’s footsteps. The 22-year-old is a college quarterback for the Nevada Wolf Pack and is about to enter his senior year.

Chubba’s nickname was given to him by his father because he was so big as a baby.

Speaking to The Arizona Republic in 2019, Chubba said that he has always been competitive with his brother. “Ever since we were little, competition has been everything,” Chubba said. “We just always want to win, and we don’t like losing.”

The college QB left Perry High School in Gilbert, Arizona, as a four-star prospect and originally committed to the Florida State Seminoles.

In two seasons as a Seminole, Chubba only started one game but featured in four, ending his time in Tallahassee with 32 completions for 317 passing yards, four touchdowns, and one interception. With the lack of game time, Purdy decided to enter the transfer portal, opting to move to the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

With Nebraska, Purdy played two seasons but again saw the field sparingly. He started two games in 2022 and 2023, falling to third on the depth chart last season.

Across his two seasons in Lincoln, Purdy played in 12 games but was rarely used. Chubba had 53 completions for 529 passing yards, two touchdowns, and six interceptions with the Cornhuskers.

Purdy then decided to enter the transfer portal for a second time at the end of the 2023 season, originally committing to San Jose State. However, in mid-January, Chubba announced he had committed to Nevada for the 2024 season.

Speaking to the Omaha World-Herald, Chubba said that Brock has been a huge influence on his career. “My brother has helped me a ton in life and football. I really appreciate that from him. He’s had a ton of experience as well. He’s just taught me so much.”

    Whittney Purdy

There is much less known about Purdy’s older sister, Whittney. We know that she was a college softball player who played third base and shortstop. She attended Spartanburg Methodist in South Carolina and transferred to Southeastern University to finish her college career.

Whittney is a loyal supporter of Brock’s and is often seen with Purdy’s fiancée Jenna Brandt at games.
