The New York Jets will face the Miami Dolphins in Week 14. Here’s the latest fantasy football news and advice to help you with your lineups this week and moving forward, especially regarding RB Braelon Allen.
Is Braelon Allen Playing in Week 14?
Allen is not listed on the injury report this week, so barring any setbacks, he is on track to play this weekend. However, his partner in the Jets backfield, Breece Hall, has been listed as doubtful for this weekend. That means Allen is in line to get the start with Hall injured.
We’ll continue to monitor the Jets’ injury report. You can also visit and bookmark our NFL Injury Tracker and Fantasy News Tracker for the latest updates.
Should You Start or Sit Braelon Allen in Week 14?
The New York Jets may have an opportunity to see what Allen could provide them as a starting RB in Week 14. Breece Hall is listed as doubtful, so it can be assumed he is not playing this week and could even be shut down for the rest of the season.
We have seen flashes from Allen this year, but there has not been a sustained opportunity to see him touch the ball. He has only topped 10 touches twice previously. In those two games, he averaged 9.5 fantasy points in PPR scoring.
He has proven he can find the end zone, with three touchdowns in just 79 touches this season. This week, Allen is an intriguing RB2 or flex option, especially with six teams on a bye.
