This week Corey Ashburn, Eric Wiedeke, and Kai’Chien Chisholm discuss the latest on the Houston Texans trade for Brandin Cooks and the Tom Brady comments on Howard Sterns show. The Houston Texans are coming off of a great season from Deshaun Watson and now Bill O’Brien has torn down his team. O’Brien has sent away multiple picks and traded away his top wide receiver in Deandre Hopkins and has now acquired Cooks in exchange for a second-round pick.

Bill O’Brien the worst GM ever?

Head coach and general manager of the Houston Texans Bill O’Brien traded away multiple players and picks over the past year. Here is the list:

  • Traded: Deandre Hopkins, Jadeveon Clowney, 2020 & 2021 first-round picks, 2020 & 2021 second-round picks, 2020 third-round pick, 2020 fourth-round pick, Jonathan Bademosi, Julien Davenport, Martinas Rankins, and a 2020 sixth-round pick.
  • Acquired: Laremy Tunsil, Bradin Cooks, David Johnson, Kenny Stills, Barkevious Mingo, Jacob Martin, Gareon Conley, Carlos Hyde, 2020 second-round pick, 2020 fourth-round pick, Keion Crossen, 2021, a fourth-round pick, 2022 fourth-round pick, and a 2021 sixth-round pick.

Basically, O’Brien is playing Madden and has trade declining turned off. He’s living a dream and is trading anything he can to fill the “holes” he feels he needs to patch in his team. It’s embarrassing, but O’Brien is his very own boss, for now.

Tom Brady talks to Howard Stern

Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. talked for almost three hours on the Howard Stern show and for the most part, talked about nothing. However, Brady did mention that there was a feeling between Bill Belichick and owner Robert Kraft at the beginning of the season that Brady wouldn’t return. This is interesting because it means most of the “smoke” from the beginning of the season was all true. Brady was out and it just wasn’t official yet.

Brady also mentioned that there were other teams that were interested in his service at quarterback and not just the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It was reported that the Indianapolis Colts talked to Brady in which Brady was pitching himself to the team, the Colts decided to decline his services for Philip Rivers instead.
