A recent appearance at Fanatics Fest sparked a viral interview between Kay Adams and Joe Burrow. Burrow was met by a Cincinnati Bengals superfan who had a straightforward thing to say to Burrow. Knowing the team’s history, with a Super Bowl appearance just a few seasons ago, this kid had his priorities straight.

Fanatics Fest Interview with Joe Burrow Gets a Laugh Out of Kay Adams
Adams introduced Burrow to a young Bengals fan named Asher. The kid wearing a Bengals jersey said exactly what one would expect. He immediately told Burrow he was a Bengals fan, calling him his favorite player. He went on to say how amazing Burrow was, but the interview quickly took a turn.

Burrow told Asher, “We’re going to have a great year for you,” to which Asher responded, “Better make the playoffs.” Adams put the microphone back in Burrow’s face after he was called out, as Burrow responded, “Rightfully so.”
Last year, the Kansas City Chiefs lost their regular-season finale to prevent the Bengals from making the playoffs. Many fans will point to an earlier game in the season, such as Week 1, where the Bengals lost to the New England Patriots, 16-10. They began the season 0-3 but lost to quality opponents such as the Chiefs and Washington Commanders.
As the 2025 season approaches, the Bengals will have a different look. They’ll start with three of their first four games on the road, but their first two are against the Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars. Those two teams combined for seven wins last season, two fewer wins than the Bengals.
Still, the road to the postseason is no easy task. In weeks three to seven, the Bengals must play the Minnesota Vikings, Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and Pittsburgh Steelers. This Bengals team could immediately start 2-0, but they will then play five straight teams that made the postseason a year ago.
While the Browns will once again likely be at the bottom of the AFC North, the Baltimore Ravens just bulked up their defense with Jaire Alexander, and the Pittsburgh Steelers have four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers at quarterback.
Burrow and crew will be done with the Steelers by Week 11, but they have a brutal three-game stretch in Weeks 13-15 as they play in Baltimore and Buffalo and then host the Ravens.
Playing Lamar Jackson two times in three weeks is no joke, but to do it sandwiched in a game against Josh Allen, on the road no less, is even tougher. Burrow will look to utilize his receiving corps that just got paid, but the Bengals defense remains an issue, as Asher will be cheering on from the comfort of his home.
