Tee Higgins and his partner in crime, Ja’Marr Chase, have signed massive deals to stay in Cincinnati for four more years. The Bengals’ top duo reunites after an impressive 2024 season.
The third piece of the puzzle, Joe Burrow, is undoubtedly thrilled to have his favorite targets back. The LSU alum pushed hard for the Bengals to lock down both Higgins and Chase. And just like Burrow, the families and friends of Higgins and Chase are celebrating their hefty new contracts.
Elation on Social Media for Tee Higgins’ New Deal
Despite some critics questioning the price tag of his deal as a No. 2 receiver, Higgins’ mother had no hesitation in voicing her opinion on X.

Higgins’ mom isn’t entertaining the haters. She knows her son’s worth and is thrilled with the contract he agreed to. While Higgins hasn’t always put up flashy numbers, his new deal makes him the ninth-highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history — something he and his family can celebrate for years.
Recapping Higgins’ First Five NFL Seasons
Coming out of Clemson, the 6-foot-4 receiver made a smooth transition to the NFL. He has recorded at least five touchdowns in each of his first five seasons, and 2024 was his best yet.
Higgins was limited to just 12 games this past season due to injury, but that didn’t stop him from reaching double-digit touchdowns for the first time in his career. He finished with 10 scores and over 900 yards. He also caught 73 passes, just one shy of his career-high 74, which he has reached twice.
The two seasons Higgins caught 74 passes were also his two 1,000-yard campaigns. Across 2021 and 2022, he totaled 2,120 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns, averaging 14.3 yards per catch.
While Higgins has played alongside Chase as the Bengals’ No. 2 receiver, he has played a crucial role in the offense throughout his career.
Where Did Cincinnati Bengals Rank Offensively in 2024?
The Bengals ranked in the top 10 of PFSN’s 2024 NFL Offense Rankings, finishing seventh with an 83.4 (B) grade. Sterling Xie broke down Cincinnati’s explosive offense despite missing the playoffs.

Burrow’s success in 2024 wouldn’t have been possible without the contributions of Higgins and Chase. Now, with both returning for 2025, the Bengals’ high-powered offense looks to take another shot at the Super Bowl.
