The Cincinnati Bengals were left with a heavy load to carry during quarterback Joe Burrow’s absence this season due to injury, and the team is now scrambling to make it to the playoffs. Sitting at 4-9, they’re still mathematically in range to make it to the top of the AFC North; however, they need several games to go their way if they want to see the postseason.
Their Week 15 injury report should give a picture of their prospects against the Baltimore Ravens at home.
Will Bengals Stars Tee Higgins, Trey Hendrickson, and Joseph Ossai Play vs. Ravens?
Cincinnati’s quest for the playoffs begins with a healthy roster performing at a high level.
Tee Higgins — WR
Tee Higgins has been grappling with concussion worries this season. Trouble initially reared its head during Week 12Â against the New England Patriots, when he hit his head and had to be carted off the field.
He missed their subsequent matchup with the Ravens, as he worked to clear the NFL’s concussion protocol. Luckily, he progressed quickly enough to make it to their next game against the Buffalo Bills, during which he recorded 92 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
However, he experienced concussion symptoms after the game, sending him into the league’s protocol again.

His progress on this week’s injury report will be worth watching.
Trey Hendrickson — DE
Trey Hendrickson dealt with nagging core muscle issues that saw head coach Zac Taylor rule him out for their tilt versus Baltimore.
“Hendrickson initially suffered the injury during Week 6 against Green Bay, and pushed to play two weeks later against the Jets,” ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported. “This injury has not improved with advised rest and team rehab, and now will need to be addressed.”
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport stated that his season would be cut short if he underwent surgery; however, he underwent surgery on Tuesday.
Joseph Ossai — DE
Joseph Ossai suffered a shin injury against the Buffalo Bills, and Coach Taylor said he would be limited early in the week due to a laceration.
The defensive lineman played 13 games this season, booking 40 tackles, of which 21 were solos. He also has a career-equaling five sacks and one forced fumble.
Shaka Heyward — LB
Linebacker Shaka Heyward, dealing with an injured fibula, missed the Bengals’ game against the Bills after logging limited practice sessions the whole week leading up to the game.
His status for their matchup against the Ravens will have to be monitored to determine his availability.
